I went down south to Phoenix this last weekend for New Years Fest. This is a particularly bonding experience for NAU ultimate players old and young because the annual alumni vs current student game is held on the Friday night. It was great to hear the legends that frequent the stories. I sprained my acl a little. I didn't play all weekend and instead watched. The team looked really good and I was reminded of why I play this sport even though I wasn't playing. It is a great culture to be a part of. Hopefully I can soon be completely mobile again.
